Derby are neck and neck with bourmonth and still this is still not good enough for some we can not always play preatty football but sometimes is has to be scrappy football and griding out the results. But the win against cardiff was a massive three points against a team that we have struggled to beat in the past. Lee grant nevered looked like conceading today the back 4 looked solid like a rock but omar sounded like he had a excelent game to today and forming a great patnership with will huges which gives him time to pass the ball around and to keep it moving and chris martin did really well to win the pently but should have scored it but soon made up for it by scoring the header. Jamie ward sounded getting fitter and masion bennet caused them all sorts of probleams and should have scored but to me he is now ready for the first team.

Theres so many things wrong with this post and it's not just the spelling and punctuation.

The title fight was never off, currently between 6 teams.

The back four did look solid today but Cardiff were very poor, it'll be good to see how they do against the top goal-scorers in 10 days.

For me, Mason Bennett is not ready for the first team, panics everytime he gets the ball and doesn't show any composure in front of goal.

Can't help but feel the title fight might slip away if we don't get a winger in. But hopefully Chris Evans can come up trumps in the coming weeks.

He's back to the 2014 B4....

somehow that is comforting, in a weird way.

Some real classics in here, I think.

Yeah, agree.

Title fight has never been off.

Managed to stream the game yesterday and what really impressed me was the work we do off the ball. That's a common denominator of any successful side. Even though there were many simple misplaced passes I thought we absolutely bossed them, yet at the same time we didn't get too drawn into their overly physical style of play. We managed to keep them at arms length in the end. Hughes is the best midfielder in the division at the moment.

Many have commented on just how well Mascarell played but to be honest I thought he was quite wasteful in possession. For such a technically good player his passing can be quite erratic at times.

Bennett may have had a much more effective game had he not got booked for his first challenge. Saying that, I have yet to see him have an effective game out wide, as someone has commented his close ball control doesn't seem effective enough to work in tight spaces, would like to see how he gets on in a more central striking role (but obviously no chance of that) After seeing him at Blackburn I thought that we should give him more of a run in the team, but after yesterday I think getting another wide player in has got to be priority and I think it's quite probable that we may be in for a surprise. 300k to loan Ince is a lot. Works out over a season for what we forked out for Nathan Ellington!

All in all, what i'm liking at the moment is the level of focus and intensity. If we maintain this then Boro and Bournemouth will have to absolutely play out their skins to be competing with us. It's ticking over nicely, and we have it in us to go another gear or two higher. Very exciting times.

The title and the play off places will indeed go down to the final game.

As if the top 3 werent all in good form and seperated by a point, the next clutch of teams are only a few points back.

Even if points were dropped in the top 3 positions then the ipswichs, wolves, norwichs and brentfords will be gaining ground.

Boro has some easy games ahead. We have a tough time to keep up with them.

it wil be interesting, our next month on paper is a lot easier than say the month after that.

Only Bournemouth of the next 6 games or so are in the promotion shake up. Plus we have the likes of rotherham, charlton, fullham, brighton.

But then we have a period where we have to play norwich, wolves, boro, Watford, brentford fairly close together.

Then the last 4 games after brentford are all very winnable against reading, millwall, huddersfield and Blackpool.
