Can't really comment much on his ability - only remember him playing out of position at RB then Clough binning him out after he had a shocker.

Good luck to the lad at Burton - hopefully he'll have the chance to show he can make it at some level. He'll probably end up at the ex Derby revolution at Rotherham in a season or two!!

He was good for us when he played at right-back. I was always sceptical but I can't really remember a bad performance from him in the season he signed.

THEN... We play Ssausagehorpe on the opening day in the League Cup (what a crap opening day that was) and he was brought on at left-back and put in the worst individual performance I've ever seen. It was a train wreck. After that, he just seemed to be filled away in the 'go back to wherever you came from' section.

Burton would be a cracking move for him.

Remember watching him playing for Belper Town and being far and away the best player on the pitch every time I saw him. Shame it didn't work out here, I'm sure he'll do well for Burton. Also good that we are linking up well with them.

He did get ripped up that night when he came on, but to be fair to the lad he was badly let down by the midfield, especially Michael Jacobs (playing his first game). Scunny just put 2 or 3 on that side and there was little he could do on his own.

When he first came in at RB he did  pretty well.

Anyway, good luck to him.

Just reading that Hasslebank sees him as a midfield player. Has he played there for our u21s?

If I remember rightly from when he first joined from Mansfield he had played midfield for them sometimes. Think he played the odd game there at U21 level but coaches here always seemed to see him as a defender
