The Republic of Ireland international arrives on the back of a loan spell earlier in the campaign at Championship promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town, where he scored one goal in 19 appearances. Sammon made his name north of the border with Kilmarnock, where he netted 17 times in 65 games, earning himself a big money move to Wigan Athletic. He has represented his country nine times to date, but is yet to find the target. Clue - it's at the end of the pitch, equi-distant between the two corners! David
Steve Evans as manager and Conor Sammon as your striker, it's times like these that make you realise how lucky we are.

Ahjames08
Thank god, Rotherham have signed Salmon just in time to score a Hatrick against Bournemouth on Saturday. What a great ploy by Derby to put a prolific goal scorer out on loan. Hopefully he can charge around like a Bull in a China shop and take out Matt Ritchie.. Ahjames08
Matt has just signed a new 3.5 year contract at Bournemouth and it seems Red and Black runs through his veins..!! good for both him and the club, as Bournemouth falter via the Play off's, someone will have to pay a huge sum to Bournemouth. As i'm sure he will want to play in the Premiership next year or a club that gets more than 10,000 at home !!

Dimmu
25 for Kilmarnock and maybe 16 with the breakthrough season? Just goes to show how good manager Mixu really is. They got Bryson giving ball to fat Eremenko who gave it on plate to Sammon. Great tactics.
