Does McClaren have a selection dilemma.

He has to decide Shotton over Buxton/Whibread, Eustace over Omar, and Bryson over Hendrick. And yes, he's said Eustace is coming back, but depends on how impressed he was by Omar and his feelings of using Omar versus Wigan ...

Presumably, it's Shotton, Eustace and Bryson I imagine. The rest of the team has picked itself.

Hope Mascarell gets to play as he was good at Blackpool and seems to move the ball quicker. But Eustace will start and can't really complain as he's had a good season so far.

One thing about McClaren, he seems more than happy to talk up Shotton. He really wants him in the team. He specifically points him out quite a bit.

With Mascarell his talk was still about a player adapting to the game.

Thankfully he rates Dawkins too so Ibe will have to improve on the last two performances.

Surely his role as a manager is knowing his players and motivating them individually. It's brilliant if he knows exactly what they respond to.

We've all heard about players who "need an arm around them".
