Jayweb95
Who do you see staying permanently? If anybody I see shotton (know he has a view to stay) he's versatile at CB and RB but if in the prem is he what we need? Not sure if Omar would cut it long term, ibe.. No chance, I like butland.. It's unlikely but I feel he'd be a good alternative to Granty because he's getting quite old.. I really don't see Roos lasteing in the prem, feel we should send him on loan.. Start butland and put grant on the bench... Thoughts?
AmericanRam
Out of the ones we have,Shots is the most likely to stay.Butland is someone Stoke is very high on,so may cost more than we would be willing to spend. With that being said, getting him on loan again could be a possibility as I do not see him beating out Begovic anytime relatively soon. No wonder he couldn't wait to join us if beating out Begovic was one of his duties.

Alph
Well he did in the summer Probably thought he'd be able to do a Martin type role. Doesn't really look like he can. Always looks like he needs a bit more help than Martin.
RLACML
Omar couldn't cut it long term? What is that based on? Pretty sure that Zidane and Ancelotti see a potential future at Madrid for him. Couldn't cut it here my arse
Cam the Ram
Will Mac want Best? I'd hope we could find better if we were in the Prem or challenging for promotion again but I just think McClaren will end up signing him

Butland is cover for grant whilst injured.. Grant will be back in goal when fully fit.

Grant doesn't have that many years left in him, Roos is now next number 1 based on what?? His one cup match against reading?

Couldn't cut it here my arse would you want him playing next season in the prem against the likes of di Maria, hazard, etc...? Of course he has a future but he isn't what we need to make the step up.. Going into the big league you need players with more experience.

North_Stand_Ram
Shotton and Mascarrell if promoted. Just Shotton if not.

We should only sign players that will be able to match up to Di Maria and Hazard? He's played 6 (?) games for us, and you're already writing him off. In order to hack it in the Premier League, you don't need to be better than the top three, you need to be better than the bottom three. I'm not sure whether Mascarell is good enough, I'll tell you at the end of the season.

Omar obviously has talent (hence why he's at Madrid) but I just don't feel it'll be work taking the risk going up.. Zidane knows what he's doing and he sent him to the championship because obviously he feels he's just at the championship level.. Fair enough it's still early on and he hasn't played enough, but we have a lot of young players and I feel we need more experience to step up.. How many of our players have premiership experience?? I'd rather be safe than sorry.. 11 points comes to mind.

R@M
Grant is 31.... I think.....still has at least 5 years, possibly 8 or 9!!!! I rate him higher than Butland, at the moment. In fact I think he should be England's number 3 on ability and form. Was writing this as above was being posted.
