Derby gave a chance to a young black player , I think it was the mid 60's and the D.E.T reported at the time this player hade never played in a pair of football boots . I cannot remember the outcome of this players loan , can anyone tell me the outcome of his loan spell ?.

I do remember a  black player in the 1960s. We hoped he was the new Pele. He wasnt.

There were stories of  him playing in his pully and not liking the cold weather. It all seemed very exotic having a black player at the club. Afraid I cant remember his name but I dont think he played for the first team.

I read about this a couple of weeks ago. Either in here or in the DET

I remember mentioning it a few months ago in response to a Duracell thread.

The only time he actually appeared at the BBG was at half time when Cloughy sent him out with a fork.

That'll get i-Ram excited.
