Watford have completed the loan signing of West Bromwich Albion's defensive midfielder George Thorne.

The 20-year-old has joined on a youth loan until January 2 although the Baggies have a recall option after the first 28 days.

It would be interesting to know why he hasn't been extended at Watford. Started 8 of the 9 games he was there so was obviously a held in high regard by Watford's manager...

He'd be a welcome addition to the team although I still think we'd miss Eustace's experience if Thorne played in his place and I doubt he'd want to come to sit on the bench...
