What a footballing team

I'd love to know how that team would get on in todays prem. Maybe its the Derby bias in me but I'd expect big things!

Dorigo played for England. Pearson better than McMinn??????? Moreland better than Delap???

Dorigo.....i couldnt think of a foreign left back who was any good......i thought he was australian.....but you,re probably correct

Delap wasn't much kop for us. Moreland was pretty good but for some reason is remembered as sh1te

I forgot mcminn....although pearson was also the dog's wotsits when he first came.....actually can i have bryson even though he's not yet capped?

That's fine, they don't have to be capped. McGovern wasn't capped for Scotland. We sold Delap for £4.5m. You could have Laursen (ok just occasionally played there) Schnoor or Zavagno

I was too young to even see the Jim Smith glory days but I've got my cringe button ready to press when we get some horrid suggestions which ignore the Brits that won us league titles and FA Cups.

Anyone who hasn't put Peter Doherty in their Irish side wants shooting.

If you don't know who that is, you should be horsewhipped. Then shot.
