Starting to think players don’t want to come to Derby due to our manager pull and style of football tbh

I hate seeing managers sacked. I just think stability is needed sometimes. I've always wanted Warne to do well and get us out of this league.
I'm really not too fussed about the style of football in this league. For me it's about getting out of it by any means necessary. Under Billy Davies the football was, in the main, dire. There were so many games where we'd win by a goal and you'd come out thinking "How on earth have we won that" but we won. Which is fundamentally all that really matters.
When you aren't winning games, the football gets called into question. Whilst it's out first defeat in 10. The form is poor and has been for the last 7-8 months. This squad should be beating teams like Cambridge, Shrewsbury, Cheltenham comfortably.
What worries me is Warne coming out yesterday saying there wasn't much in it? Yes I know their keeper made a few saves, the one from Nelson being a good one. But Wildsmith also made a fair few. Not to mention the one where their player cut in and pulled it wide when it looked easier to score and the one where there striker cut in and all he needed to do was pass it into the corner and for some reason he cut in again. But really there should be a lot in it. That squad we had yesterday is a bloody good squad at this level and they should be cutting teams open like that. Listening to Warne yesterday it honestly felt like he'd not watched the same game as I did. Because that was absolutely woeful. To a man they were pathetic.
We've won 11 games the last 30. 4 wins in the last 14 home games.
In the Championship that wouldn't really be good enough. In this league with this squad. That is borderline unforgivable.
Saw a tweet earlier which said this "Really wanted it to work for warne but think we are getting to a Clough ,Stevie Mac situation where someone comes in tweaks it a little and off we go"
I can't help but agree with it. I think Warne is out of his depth here. This club is a big club with an expectation that we win every game in this league (obviously I know we won't) but the football we are putting on is not giving me any excitement, not making me think he can turn it around.
I'd see how he does up until the next international break in mid November and if we haven't won at least 3 out the next 4 games then I'd make a change.

When you want your team's manager to go and be replaced  I always think what is it that you want to see thats different and I've asked this question before of my mates who follow other clubs
For some winning 1-0 with any fashion of football is ok as long as we're winning, under Rowett i even thought of not going to games as his style was very negative and on the back foot.
For me we are already getting to a situation where top 2 is looking a long way off and all i want to see is some decent football and us trying to control games with a bit of nous from the touchline
I do not see Warne being able to do that so therefore I am definitely in the Warne out camp now, he tried its not a good fit and more importantly I think he's been given enough time and its just not working, sometimes managers don't suit certain clubs.
It has been seen many times including when Mac came here and took over Clough's team that the correct change can be very beneficial and that ha to happen now in my opinion
Warne will be ok and do ok at a Rotherham or a Wycombe but he's just not right for us
Clowes has to act or this season could be a write off, seeing the fans reaction today is not good but justified but I will say Hourihane had the guts to go to fans and didn't hide and just walk off
Warnock, Warburton or Eustace now would be my shortlist and maybe would give us the lift we require because it just isn't working, do feel for Warne because he's a decent man but I'd like it now if he walked away and said thanks he tried

If we're going for throwback strikers, can you imagine how many goals a fit Sturridge would have gotten in League One?!

Depending on what goes on at Ipswich, I wonder if Ladapo would become a viable target for us. They’re moving to sign Ellis Simms for £4-5m and will probably bring Hirst back. In a team that plays with one striker, he’s probably going to be relegated to third choice.

I think it is fair to say over the course of the season Roberts improved and in my opinion would be a good pick up on a free.

Everybody raves about how good Knight, Sibley and Bird are and that we would struggle to keep them, they should have stood out last season in league one, yet all had mediocre seasons. I would get rid of any of them for the right money and allow Warne to go get the players he wants to build a promotion winning side.

Have you ever been to Abu Dhabi? I know it quite well having a son who lives there and having also spent some time there. Please don't think it is like Saudi Arabia. My daughter in law hasn't complained about sexual inequality and believe me if she encountered it she would. Women are able to drive out there you know! There are certainly things there that I don't agree with and I wouldn't want to live there but it's not all bad. The crime rate is incredibly low and I have always felt very safe there, safer than in England. I reiterate there are some very serious issues there and I certainly don't condone them  but I've always believed in travel educating the mind and by interacting with people we can enable change.
